I had an e-mail last night from a fellow deviant asking if they could perhaps have the source file to my deviantID to make their own ID from and as a result I though to myself: 'if somebody cared enough to e-mail me and ask I may as well submit it to my gallery and see if anybody can make use of it.' So, here it is, this is the psd image used for my deviantID with my personal information and image omitted and the layers tidied in to groups for easy-of-use. This is submitted under Fair Use, as all resource are on this site for other deviants to use in non-commercial deviations. I didn't watermark the image or anything so I'd appreciate a link to my page or note of my reference when you post your work if I was any inspiration/reference, just as I would for you.

Hope this helps somebody, it felt rather strange to be asked for it, I thought it was just junk?

I like it, it certainly is basic. It would be neat to add some more features to it, like maybe the ability to have a hologram-like effect?

Thanks for the idea, maybe I could add like a little official looking hologram too it but all the holograms I see that are on static images just look a little boring and fake. Holograms reflect the ambient light of their settings and since the monitor is the ambient light you would probably need some kind of active flash or other media script to make a convincing hologram.

Anyway, thanks for the comments, you've no idea how much I enjoy getting critique :aww:

Maybe try making a gif file, so the colors can shift!

Thanks for the idea! I usually animate things in flash then export the movie as a gif file anyway for avatars and such so this shouldn't be much different. I'll add it to my notepad and have a crack at it sometime ^^

I'll keep that in mind when I get time to experiment. I've never bothered with ImageReady before. Its always nice to learn something new ^^
